Character
Name - Kurloz Makara
Fandom - Homestuck
Canon Point - The planet Beforus, before his accident took place and before the Game, Sgrub, had begun, ending their world.
Age - 13 years old, six sweeps. (The oldest he can be before his accident takes place)
Gender - Male (feminine presenting at times, little care for gender binary, but male)

Appearance - HereHereHere, and Here

Kurloz is tall for his age. Very lean and thin (after his accident, outright bony), just a little stretched looking. He is perfectly androgynous and takes care to pull off this look. He has feminine hips, pianists fingers, and long lashes. He wears face paint as a part of his religion, which is neatly designed like the hollow cheeks of a skull the blends over the eyes as a mask-like thing, as well as actual make up like eye-liner (lots of it) and potentially other things.

He has very curly dark hair, well managed. He's got an overbite with massive fangs, almost too big for his mouth, hanging over his dark lips-- until his accident when his mouth is stitched shut with dark thread. His eyes have yellow sclera that can change to orange and eventually red according to how angry he might get. His irises are grey but will eventually fill to be indigo/purple as he gets older and reaches maturity. He has waving goat's horns the color of candy corn.

He dresses to his interests, wearing his prince cosplays as well as, more commonly, skeleton print leggings, skeleton print turtle necks, purple booty shorts pulled over the leggings, and a good pair of high heels. He will also go with nice suits, dresses, or loose fitting dark clothing so long as it is what he decides is fashionable. Clothing gender means nothing to him.

His way of carrying himself alternates; he tries between putting on the appearance of princeliness, an arm behind the back, a lifted chin, and a small prideful smile, but he also tries for a feminine way of being, crossing his legs, making delicate sort of gestures, and adopting a strut when he gets his hands on a good pair of heels. He wishes to be all careful control. However, in his young age, his enthusiasm can get the best of him and he will show a great deal of excitability and energy.

His voice is canonically androgynous, when he has it of course. The "voice" he has when speaking to someone through his voodoo is loud, layered, distorted, and demonic.

Personality -

Before his accident; Kurloz is extremely talkative, unable contain his thoughts and feelings on anything (however much he sometimes wishes to, finding in the Beforan society where your business is everyone's, that things kept secret are ultimately more special). He is excessively verbose (with purple prose all in his speech) and very expressive, though he always tried to keep up a smile no matter the circumstances, burying his negative feelings as much as he can. He is a firm believer in smiling the bad feelings away and never admitting anything is wrong. Still, he feels things very, very deeply, including both a hidden rage and a passionate love and affection for his Matesprit (Meulin Leijon), his Moirail (Mituna Captor), and his faith, among other people and things. His care, when garnered, is genuine and long-lasting. He is supportive of his friends and seeks to be a helpful and calming influence for them all. Despite his flaws, he has a kind heart.

He truly believes in his faith and everything it teaches. He's already dedicated his whole being to it, even at his age. Because of his abandonment by his lusus and other factors of his environment, he desperately, if secretly, seeks validation. He dreams of serving his Messiahs and becoming an important person within society. He tries to be what he considers a Good Beforan when he reaches out to others, seeking to get a better understanding of others so as to be able to work with them and help them.

His beliefs are founded in a faith of Carnival. There is belief in family (as a unity concept, troll don't do family in the human sense), in a balance and unity of opposing aspects, in celebration, beauty in all things, trueness to the self, the belief in two gods called the Mirthful Messiahs (represented like that of Pathos and Bathos of drama; :o) & Do: ) being ultimate creation and destruction, both equally important, and in a paradise planet to come with the rise of mythical Minstrels, and a carnival styled afterlife referred as shangri-la. He believes this paradise planet, this shangri-la, will be a place of true peace for all.

Following his accident; All of the positive traits he had before end up twisted. He is manipulative of others in ways ranging from actual mind control tactics to using affection, and the tactics for reaching out that he learned before his accident, to keep his closest from seeing his greater intents. He no longer feels things in full the way another might and would struggle to relate and empathize with others if he could be bothered enough to care or try. Many of his strong emotions are broken down and stored away, beyond himself, either by his own power as Prince of Rage ("destroying rage" and by extension, other feeling) or by the power of the nightmare he experienced thanks to his god. He stops seeing people as people and starts seeing them as a means to an ultimate end, all a part of a great big key to the doors of some "true paradise" of his faith, now warped and twisted.

Those he truly still "cares" for he is possessive of, even after he and Meulin had broken up he tried to keep her close and in the influence of the same distorted version of the faith as he. He does not realise that his feelings are any different than before and even though he as put a distance between them, he still cannot let go, and this stands with how he'd respond to any other he got truly close to, breaking past barriers.

However, the truth is, if in Kurloz's plans someone other than himself had come to hurt his Meulin or Mituna, or if he even got what he wanted-- the death of all his friends-- he wouldn't able to entirely maintain the distance from his emotions he has managed thus far. He puts his feelings away, almost as if programmed or robotic, doing so deliberately, but he is not completely unsusceptible. As is a common theme of both Rage Players, emotions will be his downfall, and in relation to being a Prince Player, he will surely find that things will not go as planned at all and his plans will very likely blow up in his face. It is a failure to properly face his problems that will cause him the most grief, even as he convinces himself this is perfectly untrue. He is very good at lying and even better at lying to himself.

Kurloz's faith becomes warped after he receives his vision, heavily implied to be brought on by the dark god of his faith. He keeps to parts of the teachings such as those of family, and justice to the guilty, as well as salvation, and of course the Lord himself, but he eschews other parts, failing to be true to himself (though he believes he is), and failing to remember that there is meant to be a balance to the aspects of death and darkness. He only seems to believe in only the Lord and not a pair of Messiahs. He also does not believe the dream bubbles he dwells in after death are the foretold Shangri-La, but a sort of purgatory between. He believes there is much more to come and that all must be destroyed before that can come to be, which drives him to do terrible things. This conflicts with the nature of the world he grew up in, one of peace. Although he never directly kills a person (as his Alternian counterpart would, a reincarnated duplicate of himself) he is far from above the idea of violence.

Before & After; He is an actor. He loves all the dramatic plays, especially the Shakespearean. And so, when he faces the world, he faces it with a mask. He takes extra care in however it is he decides to present himself. Often with a touch of unnervingness, for he simply can't help himself with his enjoyment of being such, and of course, a smile! He learned the art of taking care of one's presentation thanks to his modern society and it's aim of trying to seem welcoming and friendly (an effect often achieved at face value through what one wears). He took a liking to it and ran with it (perhaps away from the initial point). He likes to dress in ways that will surprise, that reflect his darker more unorthodox interests (his fondness for skeletons and skulls), working slight feminine touches, blending gender lines without a care. He is fond of working his androgyny.

Of course, his vanity extends to just that. Though he takes care in his appearance, he doesn't take care of his health really at all. He can be highly self destructive and even be outright masochistic. He would take a pride in the way his bones would show through in his lack of care. He takes to injuries and various pains as something (divine punishments even, that) he "deserves for his sins". Which brings back around his feelings of guilt.

In the instance that he believes he has done something wrong, he has an overwhelming sense of guilt and takes things very hard. When he receives a vision from the dark half of his gods, he screams so loud that he deafens Meulin, and in his guilt of that he goes so far as to immediately bite out his tongue and sew his mouth shut forever. This is the most poignant example of the extent he is willing to go.However, if he believes he is in the right, he will feel nothing whatsoever. He recognizes that sewing his mouth shut was very traumatizing for his loved ones, but he does not regret doing it for he was "right" to.

This all aside, Kurloz is about what you might expect from a kid. He loves jokes and stupid puns. He has a dark, but fairly good sense of humor. He enjoys riddles and wordplay. He's not at all above silliness and goofiness. He tends to collect tons of strange and unusual reaction GIFs to communicate with. He tokes up with his friends using "Nip" for fun and to relax (and to sleep easier). He likes his plays and poetry, all things thespian, cosplay (as Prince Hamlet!), and enjoys playing games a little (with Mituna), and "shipping" or gossiping (with Meulin) about who is dating who and who makes a better pair.

He's a very physically affectionate person, even following his accident. He likes touch and closeness, but as a comfort in itself, because it speaks to the deeper parts of him that longs for feeling things that he's got hidden, and for the darker purpose of it being a good way to control people. His sexuality, in his later years of life, falls well in line with this too. He's not at all ashamed of his sexuality and might even flaunt it if given the chance and desire. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean love nor vice versa. It is just another way he expresses himself, just as he expresses himself through body language and signing.

As evidenced by his making up a whole new sign language for himself and Meulin, as well as a great number of other things, Kurloz is very, very dedicated. He is also, in either side, a rather intelligent individual, taking measures to be very skilled at what he chooses to do, and always trying to be aware of the many "pieces on the chessboard", as is common of Prince Players.

He is in any case, a product of his environment-- while he grows up like this on Beforus, he has a counterpart who grows up on Alternia to be very different thanks to different societies, world views, and ways of life influencing their growth.

History
 - Wiki link here. (please note: as Kurloz is a very minor character, some of his history will involve some headcanon, however, this will be made so it doesn't contradict with canon or the headcanons of other cast members as much as possible and will use canon information to back the ideas.)

(You may provide a link for a canon character, but please give an explanation all the same. Characters from canon can either have a history summation here, or a paragraph explaining their current canon point. Make sure to include important headcanon, if you have any. No need to write a novel, but give us enough to understand what your character has been through. OCs will need to be very, very detailed here.)

Kurloz Makara was "born" on Beforus, the predecessor to Alternia. Beforus, unlike Alternia, was meant to be a planet of peace, and although it had problems of it's own, (i.e. the culling system which was designed so that someone even slightly disadvantaged, especially those of lower blood, would be "adopted" in sense by a higherblooded troll who would then care for them, though with slight condescension and degradation involved, neglecting that the individual could still be a capable person) for the most part its people faced little hardship in comparison to their Alternian counterparts.

Kurloz Makara was a strange and verbose child, who talked as if he was both preforming a play (one of his interests) and preaching at the same time, prose as purple as could be, with smatterings of curse words and slang derived from his faith (based off juggalo subculture). He had a tendency to assume people were listening, and more-over, that they wanted to listen, and so sometimes unintentionally warded others off.

He was good at keeping his flaws well buried-- his hidden anger streak, possessiveness-- and even with those, he was at his core a kind hearted, supportive, and generally an all around good kid, even a calming influence on those close to him. His most important things were his "family" and his friendships.

Intensely invested in his faith, the cult of the Mirthful Messiahs, Kurloz immersed himself in the Cult's teachings of miracles, family, balance and beauty in both life and death within nature, trueness of the self, justice served for the guilty and salvation for the deserving, of a pair of unnamed gods deemed The Messiahs, and of a prophesied paradise planet to come on which "a band of capricious Minstrels" (perhaps demi-gods) had been foretold would rise. (This is loosely based off juggalo subculture) He would paint his face everyday in respect to this and it would be seen as religious symbol, like the way one might wear a cross or a hijab, wearing a design specifically personal to him.

His lusus (Lusus Natrae, a creature meant to act as a gaurdian and caretaker for young trolls) would be a seagoat monster with a tendency for absence. He would be deemed fit for "culling" which on Beforus meant an officer would take him away and find a new guardian (a troll this time) that would care for and coddle him to likely an overbearing degree. However, Kurloz Makara happened to be the ancestral descendent of Gamzee Makara, who in this life (I speculate) was known as The Grand Highblood, a title which held a very different meaning on this planet, one of a more peaceful nature but still one of absolute faith. Being descended from an important and influential figure, as well as quite busy, Kurloz was allowed the gracing of being in a less coddled state of living than others who had fallen under "culling". He lived with the Grand Highblood as his official guardian, members of the church- the "family"- to converse with, and a culling officer to occasionally check in on Kurloz's living situation. He would otherwise be quite independent, taking care of himself without much hardship and would be housed alone.

Kurloz found close friendships in the trolls Mituna Captor and Meulin Leijon, the former becoming his moirail (a platonic soulmate meant to calm trolls) and the latter his matesprit (fated love, of the less platonic nature. They were deemed "meant to be" by everyone they knew). He developed deep attachments and affections for the both of them, his very best friends, and would spend countless nights and days conversing with them. The three were a part of a bigger circle of twelve, all the rest in a tentative and oft-times strained "friendship". These twelve would later share a much bigger fate.

He grew up well, his biggest outside worry being the increasing prevalence of horrific daymares-- something not unheard of in trolls, as they are often afflicted with daymares, especially with his power of Chucklevoodoo, an ability over fear and day/nightmares, which would add to his already poor sleep. Even with this, it would cause little issue, his facepaint (and copious eyeliner) covering up the physical, and his friends and loves, Mituna and Meulin to rely on for the emotional aspects. (As well as being given/prescribed "Nip" / a weed equivalent to help with this, with him continuing the habit of smoking forever after.)

Then, one day, at 6 sweeps (age 13 in years) he fell asleep next to Meulin and had a daymare worse than any of the others. Its exact details would remain unknown, but through his screams on waking, the horrific roar-- hailing the end of the later universe-- of one of his gods would be echoed. His dark god's influence would touch on his mind, his own mind turned on him with all the power his voodoo had, and it would change him for what would've been forever. His screams were so loud, his matesprit, Meulin, was deafened permanently. Once fully come-to, forced to bear with the immense guilt of what he'd done and the great revelations that had all at once come to him at the same time, he then proceeded to bite out his tongue and then stitch his mouth shut. He would be rendered mute for the rest of that lifetime.

Together with Meulin, they would form their own made up sign language so as to still be able to communicate with each other. He would communicate with one other, Mituna, whether through sign, simple body language, or text communication. Otherwise, he opted to take to complete silence with just about all the other trolls. More and more as time passed he would become decidedly too creepy to associate with for the other ten in their friend circle.

Unfortunately for them, also at six sweeps, they would all play a game that would invoke the end of their world, killing all other trolls, and taking the twelve away to gift them their own personal hero titles and mini-planets where they would complete quests, defeats enemies, and try to create a universe of their own that they would become psuedo-gods of. Kurloz would be deemed the Prince of Rage, meaning "one who destroys rage", "one who destroys through rage", and/or "one who destroys the self through rage", and he would be given The Land Of Tents And Mirth as his planet (one he would later share with Gamzee Makara, Bard of Rage).

This game would go on for another three sweeps (6 years), with terrible event after event marking the way, (one such event including Mituna's accident, where he tried to save the twelve from a fate of doom, then giving himself permanent and severe brain damage, with no other troll there to witness it save Kurloz, who may in fact have been responsible. It is also suspected he may have had involvement with an accident of Cronus Ampora's, once a skilled magician, but who then game up magic after mysterious incident, though Kurloz's involvement here is much less likely.) until eventually it became clear that their session was broken, glitched, and with their peaceful lives before, they were entirely unprepared for what the game had thrown them and there would be no way for them to win.

Through various convulted events, they would essentially come to make a deal; they could give their species another chance to live, they would be made into a stronger people, a people who could beat the game with ease, but in return, they would erase Beforus, the lives of everyone on it, and their own. On top of this, they would switch places with their ancestors, becoming the ancestors themselves as their former ancestors became the descended children destined to play the exact same game. And, although not explicitly stated, each individual troll would find something they'd always dreamed of in their next life-- at great costs unbeknownst to them.

By this time, Kurloz had changed drastically, become a cold person, keeping up a facade of smiles and false cheer. What feelings he had would be kept carefully controlled and buried to the point they were sometimes even out of his own reach. His views on the world around were marked with a disconnect, an inability to accept things as "right" in the dream bubbles, a thing only his God and Kurloz in his God's servitude could bring. His flaws were well there and emphasized, a nature for manipulation running fresh and strong even/especially with those he once truly cared for, and an even more intense worship of the demonic god that had influenced his daymare (with no mention of the other, balancing god, but one who had on Beforus presumably represented the other half, life and creation) had grown in him. He, by this time, had long sought the demise of everyone so as to better serve his Lord, The Angel of Double Death, whom he believed would bring salvation through this act of killing them all.

He, along with the other twelve, would accept the bargain presented to them. They would scratch their session, resetting their universe entirely, as Meenah Peixes, another of the twelve (who'd become the empress in the next life) set off a bomb to kill them all. Thanks to this bomb, their stories would diverge into two; they would live new lives on Alternia, while at the same time ghosts of themselves as they were then would continue on in an afterlife of sorts, watching their others live new and full lives while they remained frozen in their own times. Their stories would from there continue on two different paths.

For the thousands of millennia, the now dead Kurloz would be set to watch Alternia grow and eventually die, then later when the Alternian trolls created it as part of their game, Earth too would be observed, all from within the dream bubbles. The dream bubbles were made, naturally, of the dreams and memories of those that inhabited them, home to ghosts and the dreaming. As many of his "friends" began to stagnate within the bubbles, becoming parodies of themselves, Kurloz went to work carving out a number of secret catacombs within the dream bubbles where secrets could be stored and all his dreams and memories (things that would be seen by all otherwise) could be hidden away, leaving his personal history a mystery to all save himself. He gained an even greater mastery over his powers of fear and nightmares by working within the dream bubbles and put them to use in manipulating many of his closest friends in service to his "Messiah", Lord English. He also gains a mastery of speaking to individuals through the use of his chucklevoodoo power, using the fears of others to speak into the minds of those he truly wishes to.

After an eternity, Kurloz gets to meet his reincarnated ancestor, now his descendent, Gamzee Makara. He helps to assemble a fake godtier for Gamzee and goes to meet up in secret in one of Kurloz's catacombs. He seems to think this Gamzee to be as interested in serving their Lord as he, and that Gamzee himself is almost a sort of messianic figure or at very least a superior in some way or form, one who will "bring to life [their] wicked ruse". He also seems abnormally enthusiastic and even overbearing whilst speaking to Gamzee, clearly some degree of enamoured with whatever it is he has decided Gamzee represents and perhaps Gamzee himself. He rambles on to Gamzee until Gamzee, not at all sharing the fond sentiment or the gushing of the murder of all their friends, snappishly cuts him off, telling Kurloz to "Shut up" at which point Kurloz obediently complies.

He is last seen in canon picking up a coat dropped and left behind by Vriska Serket so that it may be transformed into the infamous green, flashing cloak his lord and master wears.

Skills/Abilities/Powers - He is good with sewing and makes all his own cosplays. His passion is that of plays and performances. He is a good actor and enjoys it a lot. He enjoys poetry and sonnets.

As his very faith is Carnival based, he has many of the sorts of skills you'd expect from your average carny. He can juggle, do contortionism, ride a unicycle, dance, sing, perform in all sorts of other means, and eventually things like knife throwing, trapeze, and the high wire. Though he could just as easily do well in a freakshow.

He is also able to use clubs and juggling pins as a weapon, but only after his time in the game. Before his accident, he can't fight very well at all. He keeps the clubs in a thing called a Strife Specibus which is a modern troll invention and in part of a mechanic of the game he plays. He is also able to store objects in a magical hammerspace, his being a Miracle Modus, which is also a modern troll thing, also in part of the game.

Being an Inidigo/purple blooded troll, Kurloz Makara not only had hugely increased strength and endurance (especially pain endurance, and the ability to bleed out a lot without dying) well beyond a human's range of capability, he also had a power called Chucklevoodoo.

The chucklevoodoo is an intensely comprehensive power with root in the the manipulation of fear and nightmares. He can sense and feel the fears of all others around him and can pick out specific things inferred by those fears. He can create new fears in a variety of different forms, like waves of panic, nagging anxiety, unease, or full on terror. He can summon these fears from the depths of one's mind or create new ones out of nothing. He could break a person down, tearing them apart from the mind and it can even touch and permanently mark the soul if he so wanted (for example, Meulin, Mituna, and himself all retained their disabilities after dying when technically they should've been healed. They have at least a touch, each of them, of chucklevoodoo affect).

In dreams and in dream worlds, he is able to shape the environment to his will with ease, using nightmares, which are but dreams with fear in them (it was this way he was so easily able to create his catacombs). He can also block out events and information in a person's mind, using fear, drawing up intense mental blocks that leave the victim woozy, dizzy, confused, and vaguely sick, while wondering what just happened. He can use this ability to speak directly into a person's mind that gives his "voice" an eerie echoing reverb, stirring up fears so that he may continue to speak (though not mind read. The person he is "speaking" to must talk out loud from him to hear it). The downside is an increased propensity for nightmares and slow breaking down of sanity when overused.

When using the voodoo in extreme degrees, notably mindcontrol, the eyes flash purple to pink.

Kurloz was also deemed by the game of sgrub to be the Prince of Rage, which presumably gives to him or otherwise reveals a power to "destroy rage" or "destroy using rage" (or destroy the self through it). This could mean he literally has the ability to destroy rage, which he could do either to make a set person/group complacent, or alleviate one's anger until such a time it can resolved-- or even simply resolving it! He could be able to help calm people down, and this, tied with his chucklevoodoo, could go even past that to absolve fears and other needless negativity. There is theory that the aspect of Rage governs more than just rage itself but a whole range of different emotions, anything that is intense feeling. If this is true, this could lend to the destruction of his own feeling, or even different feelings in others.

With godtiering (dying in a sacrificial way in a point of the game) he would have an even better control of this power, as well a prince outfit and wings, which both just magically appear. With these wings, he can fly, leaving a trail of pixie dust wherever he goes. Being godteir he would have conditional immortality, only being able to die if it is considered "heroic" or "just". However, it is not yet been revealed in canon whether he is godtier or not and he would not be one before his accident in either case.

As a thing to note! He is nowhere near powerful enough with these abilities before his accident, or even while he is alive. Before his accident, he'd be able to maybe do a little bit with fear, but not too much. And his powers as a Prince of Rage would not be very active either.

Power Restrictions - Kurloz will not need much power restriction before his accident. He is not yet skilled with any of his abilities and would likely just sense/feel fear (of others) and be able to manipulate that in times of danger to protect himself, like to make people afraid of him or of going near him. He will not be able to preform mindcontrol, create mental blocks, or do really any of the more complicated stuff. His working with Prince Of Rage powers would be limited to defusing a situation to try and calm parties down (though not completely) and even then this power would be used largely involuntarily.

Post accident he would have to have a lot of the powers mentioned above highly restricted, though the ability to use his fear power/voodoo to speak if needed would be ideal.

Job - In a carnival setting, Kurloz could easily manage as an odd-job-jack. The most obvious thing is that he is a clown and would happily do the performances up and down the midways and within the tents themselves. Basic things like juggling while unicycling, cotortionism, singing and dancing, and miming. He'd be very eager to take up training with the trapeze and high wire, fire breathing and even ticket taking. Working in the House of dusk would be a piece of cake with his fear powers. And of course, he'd be able tailor and costume, as well as apply make up on his fellow carnival workers. His official job would be as a performer or a clown, but he could work a side job of filling spaces when others fell out of commission. The only thing is that he wouldn't likely be any sort of carnybarker, both because his later being mute, and because he's not easily understood when he can speak.

Mark Location - His throat.

First Person Sample (Communicator, Bulletin, or Mirror) -
[The magic mirror is all kinds of mother fuckin amazing. As soon as it's being figured out, he wastes no time in getting it going and getting about the preach. He does so with great enthusiasm, lit up eyes, and a wide toothy grin of fangs. He is all but bouncing in excitement to greet his fellow carny members.

And it would probably be good to get the situation on if he will ever recall on how he died before he made it here to shangri-la. And if there's anything he might be able to do for his Matesprit and Moirail and all his friends back home. But excitement is first on the table!]

I come before thee in greeting upon this most righteous reckoning of ours. Truly ecclesiastical does our the dark carnival stand, in maddest mother fuckin respects dost I embrace the glory. Hail the Messiahs and praise the Minstrels to rise! I give unto thee my genuflections.

To my homies of the rowdy rucous, I propose to thee a bustin of the sweetest swill of our elixir, in toast to us what got our souls sent smooth as aforesaid drenching. Pious, pious be the noise, what is being mother fuckin down with extinctimates? How long have you gone all bereft of life as I? My cadaverous comrades, I preach still I am of a memory absent to mine thinkpan on when I didst get to be mother fuckin snuffed, and I wonder of the commonalities true and legit.

Third Person Sample (Log) -

It's hardly a surprise he wandered in here. The carnival lights, the sounds, the beauty of it... he's been to church tons and tons of times, been to all the carnathedrals, festivals, and celebrations. But this? This is something what's being like pulled straight out from the scriptures themselves. This is a true and proper Dark Carnival.

He is mother fuckin surrounded by churchly and pious pure. He is deep in the spiritual shit. Why didn't none of the lay priests and preachers speak on this happenstance? Why not his ancestor? Why would no one have told him this was to come, no mention of locations being ever so close to his hive, nothing. He would've brought Meulin for certain, and Mituna. He would've tried to bring everyone. But instead, from his shores, he walked seemingly alone.

He stops there in the middle of it all to turn around slow, taking its glory, its majesty, heart soaring high.

And he jumps as the gates close behind him. He stares at them and stares, as slowly something begins to sink in, with the ethereal nature of its all.

Oh.

This... this must be shangri-la.

He must be dead.

Any Other Details We Should Know - I intend to eventually canon update him to after his accident, once he's had a good solid chunk of time warming up to people.
